I've cleaned out my studio and found many skeins of sample and unlabeled 5/2 Tencel™ yarn. Help me find homes for lots of beautiful yarn! A Mystery Box contains a random assortment of yarn, mostly skeins, though a few may be wound into balls. There may be solid colors, variegated samples, or uniquely painted yarn. Each box has a different quantity of skeins, but all boxes contain approx. 1 lb. of yarn (roughly 2,100 yards).

P.S. If your box has a uniquely painted multi-color skein (not variegated and not solid), you may have lucked out and received a skein my 4-year-old son painted! (He's 5 now). I have a large stockpile of his painted yarn at home, so it can be a special hidden gem for a couple lucky recipients :)

Need ideas

I love the colors that I received but I am baffled about what to do with the small skeins. I really don’t want to just do stripes. I would have liked some ideas for patterns. The yarn itself is gorgeous.

Mystery Yarn Box

The Mystery Yarn Box was so fun to receive! I currently have a Theo Moorman warp on the loom and all the beautiful hues in the box are activating my creative juices. I loved it so much — I ordered a second Mystery Yarn Box! Thanks Amanda for creating this item!

mystery treats — wow

i jumped on the opportunity to try this out, hoping i wouldn’t end up with seconds or dud colors. Wow, all i can say is i got an incredible variety and value in weaving tencel ….. while not every color is my favs they are all gorgeous and i can’t wait to use them. definitely a great value!
