Shipping policy

Shipping policy for IN-STOCK items

All orders are processed within 3-5 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped. 

For DYE-TO-ORDER Items

Please allow up to 4 weeks to ship. I will measure, prewash, dye, and thoroughly scour and dry the final results. Timeline will depend on current studio agenda and upcoming shows/workshops. If you want something sooner, e-mail customerservice@shinydimefibers.com and we can see what we can work out!

You will receive a tracking number for your shipment. I am not responsible for shipping carrier delays.

Local pickup – Bloomington, IN

You can skip the shipping fees with free local pickup at 611 W. 11th St., Bloomington, IN or the Bloomington Spinners and Weavers Guild Retail Store, 3038 E. 3rd St., Bloomington, IN. After placing your order and selecting local pickup at checkout, your order will be prepared and ready for pick up within 1-3 business days. We will send you an email when your order is ready along with instructions. 

(Should you choose local pickup and NOT live within a reasonable distance of pickup locations, shipping fees will be invoiced to you and your order will not ship out until fees are paid.)

International Shipping

I do offer international shipping. Estimated delivery time 8-20 days. Shipping options available for your country will be calculated and displayed at checkout.  

Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT), which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country. Shiny Dime Fibers is not responsible for these charges if they are applied and are your responsibility as the customer.

How do I check the status of my order?

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from me which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available. 

If you haven’t received your order within 15 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact customerservice@shinydimefibers.com with your name and order number, and I will look into it for you.

Shipping to P.O. boxes

UPS cannot ship to P.O. boxes. If you wish to receive a shipment over 8 lbs., USPS will be used. Additional shipping fess may apply.

Refunds, returns, and exchanges

I accept returns up to 30 days after delivery, if the item is unused and in its original condition, and we will refund the full order amount minus the shipping costs for the return. 

In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email me as soon as possible at customerservice@shinydimefibers.com with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition. I address these on a case-by-case basis but will try my best to work towards a satisfactory solution.
