I'm trying out crackle weave for the first time!

This is the first time I’ve done Midnight Lagoon as a painted warp. I started by winding warps in 5/2 Tencel™, 8/2 Tencel™, and ringspun cotton. Then I mixed up five colors from the palette—the three main colors plus two intermediary blends—to make a smoother transition.

Back in April, I put out a call for product testers to try the Swirling Snowflake 4-Shaft Weaving Kit—a hand-dyed yarn and pattern combo I’d been excited to share. I asked folks to apply if they were willing to weave with it, document their experience, and give honest feedback.
