Creating Exclusive Hand-Painted Warps from the Fridge!

Creating Exclusive Hand-Painted Warps from the Fridge!

When the fridge gets full of leftovers, I don’t cook—I dye.

Not food, of course. Dye. Specifically, jars and cups of mixed-up color from previous projects that are too good to waste. I hate throwing out anything that still has potential. So, when the dye fridge starts looking a little crowded, that’s my cue: time to get playful.

This new batch of Limited Edition warps was born out of one of those studio sessions.

I recorded the whole thing so you could come along for the ride. You’ll see how I build each piece one by one, adjusting as I go, trusting instinct more than formulas. Some of these colorways started with a plan… and then veered off entirely. Others surprised me in the best way.

This kind of dyeing is a little messy, a little unpredictable—and it’s where the magic happens.

What Makes These Warps “Limited Edition”?

Every piece in the collection is dyed during sessions like this:

  • Using mixed or leftover dye

  • With no intention of recreating the colorway

  • Dyed based on feel, not formulas

That means when they’re gone, they’re really gone.

You won’t find these in my regular painted warp collections or palettes. They’re only available to email subscribers, and they’re all one-offs—true studio exclusives.
